Description

Natural Factors Coenzyme Q10 100 mg is a one-per-day naturally fermented CoQ10 supplement. It consists only of the natural trans isomer identical to the body’s own CoQ10 ubiquinone, which plays a vital role in energy production and helps support cardiovascular health.

CoQ10 is a vitamin-like nutrient with essential roles in the mitochondria, the energy powerhouses of our cells. It is involved in generating adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the body’s main energy source. CoQ10 affects the function of all cells, making it essential for the health of our tissues and organs. CoQ10 is highly concentrated in the muscles, including the heart, where it is used to promote healthy heart function. CoQ10 is also an antioxidant for the maintenance of good health, working to quench the free radicals responsible for oxidative stress.

The body’s CoQ10 production declines naturally with age. Certain medications, health conditions, and exposure to high oxidative stress can also deplete CoQ10 levels, leaving less energy available for the body’s systems to function properly.
